Güemes Lodgings Preliminary Plan
Location: Güemes Street - Bariloche
Building: Lodgings – 1170,00m² - 2004
Starting out from a delimited programme, these lodgings were designed in a triangular cornered patch of land, which from its north side obtains a beautiful view towards the Nahuel Huapi Lake, and from its southern side faces a not so busy neighbourhood street.
Over this street is where the main access is set, as well as the service areas and accesses. After going through a double access door of entrance one comes across the reception, bar, breakfast area, living room and the vertical circulation which looks over the living rooms in each floor. In a lower subsoil floor the required garages were set.
In the superior floors there are 15 rooms and two duplex master suites.
The rooms make up an interesting game of volumes with projecting bodies and balconies, accompanied by the roof itself.
Great windowing reflects the two-story height, the vertical circulation and living rooms from the exterior.
The design is modern and functional, retrieving a reference in this type of architecture with the treatment in the façades
